What to do when you receive your VT completion e-mail

 

When your virtual tour is complete, you will receive an e-mail from Tour Factory.com.  It will say your name, and then link to the address of your tour. When you open the e-mail go to the full branded link click on it and look at the tour.  Get familiar with the pictures. Then go down to where it says MLS and magazine photos. Click on the link that takes you to the photo download page. The box will pop up with the download Wizard. This is how you will download the photos for your MLS. Step one, change the size to read “large” 800x600 (for Monmouth Ocean MLS) Step two.  Choose the picture you would like to download (do not download ones that say “PAN” or “360”).  After you have chosen the picture you want to download.  Left click on the picture on the right. Do not right click and choose “save picture as” otherwise you will get a tiny little picture. When you "left click" on the picture, you will get a pop-up box that will ask you open save or cancel. Click on save. Then make a folder with the listing address on it.  Then save the picture.  Then go back to step two and choose your next picture. Left click on the photo and hit save.   (If you try to save pictures with the same name on it, Example more than one kitchen, you must change the file name on it in order to save it.  You can just add a 2 or 3 at the end of it.)   Keep doing this until you have all the pictures you need.  You can then close the download Wizard.  Now go back to the e-mail find the link that says “IDX unbranded rich tour link” highlight and copy it. Now open your MLS,  Go to maintenance, add photos and media. Where it asks you what kind of media would you like to add click on virtual tour.  Underneath, you will see a box that says place URL here. Place your cursor in their right-click and paste.  Then type, “click here for virtual tour” in the box below.  Then click “save media.”  You should see the big “V” above, where your pictures are. Now go back and click “add photos.”  Click browse, and upload your photos that you just downloaded from the download Wizard.

 

Remember, these photos that you have just downloaded or four Web purposes only.  If you wish to print something with our photos, you must go in to the photos and text page.  Go to e-mail the photos and download the original sizes. (Click on the little green arrow next to the photo you want to save).
